An Easter egg hunt like you’ve never experienced before… In the dark! Snipes are tiny, imaginary, nocturnal creatures that live in Palo Duro Canyon. Here’s your chance to come out and help us round them up!

Prepare: Dress for the weather and wear good hiking shoes/boots. Flashlights will be required, as they are needed to find the snipes. Please arrive at the park entrance no later than 7:30pm to ensure that you make it to the hunt on time. This is a kid-focused event, so parents and teens please come out ready to help the little ones with their hunt. 

Meet: At the Wolfberry Day Use Area located near the back of the park on Alternate Park Road 5. Watch for signs and flashing arrows that will direct you to the parking area. 

Fees: Regular park entrance fees ($5 per adult, children 12 & under are free). No charge for this program.
