Description:

Join Park staff to learn how to identify certain mammals found in the Texas Panhandle by examining their skins and skulls. Specific adaptations found in animals will be discussed and what inherited traits are. You will learn about the food chain and what traits are found among predatory mammals vs. herbivores. Meet at Alibates Visitor Center.

  • Thursdays and Fridays, 12:00 p.m. 45 minutes

We offer a variety of ranger-led programs during the winter and spring seasons for park visitors. All programs are free, but some require advanced reservations because space is limited.
