With over 75 parks within Lubbock, citizens can enjoy family outings while using playgrounds, walking tracks, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, ball fields, picnic tables, park shelters, party houses, playa lakes, and restrooms. Other park amenities include two skate parks, specialty playgrounds, a BMX track, two disc golf courses, an equestrian trail, bird blinds, and fishing docks. Improve your health and well being by participating in Adult Softball, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball and Flag Football Leagues, Aquatics, Safety City, and the Burgess-Rushing Tennis Center. All ages will enjoy our affordable recreation and cultural events and classes throughout the year at one of our five Community Centers and four Senior Centers.
