Come learn about the native plants of Palo Duro!

Take a stroll along the beautiful Rojo Grande Trail with a ranger. Discover how the canyon comes alive during a rainy season! This green, shady, 2 mile trail will take us through the Quartermaster layer of Palo Duro Canyon. Wear weather appropriate clothes, bring water, sunscreen, and good shoes!

Prepare: Dress for the weather, bring water to drink, and wear your hiking shoes for this easy to moderate 2 mile hike. 

Meet: Lighthouse parking lot. 

Fees: Regular park entrance fees ($8 per adult, kids 12 and under are free)
